Spend 7 days exploring the Northern regions of Namibia and the renowned Etosha National Park – one of the greatest wildlife-viewing venues in the world.

DAY 1 SATURDAY WINDHOEK – SWAKOPMUND
Depart Windhoek and travel to the coast. Visit the craft market in Okahandja en route. Short stop for Lunch at Karibib or Usakos (for own account). Visit Goanikontes and the Moon Landscape. Arrive at Swakopmund in the afternoon. A possible dinner meet with fellow travellers, who join the tour in Swakopmund. Overnight at a Swakopmund Guesthouse.

DAY 2 SUNDAY SWAKOPMUND – DAMARALAND
Depart early morning, on the salt road towards Henties Bay, pass some salt pans and an array of bird life. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes on the way into Damaraland. Packed Lunch en route included. We will arrive at our remote lodge later that afternoon. Overnight at Twyfelfontein Lodge. [FB]

DAY 3 MONDAY DAMARALAND
Morning at leisure or join a scenic morning walk or partake in a complimentary morning guided hiking trail where you're introduced to the fauna & flora of the area. The trail will start 30 minutes before sunrise enjoy a mountain picnic breakfast at a beautiful spot. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon join a sun downer drive in the Aba Huab River and possibly encounter the desert dwelling elephants (seasonal). Overnight at Twyfelfontein Lodge. [FB]

DAY 4 TUESDAY DAMARALAND – ETOSHA
Leave Damaraland. Visit a Himba village near Kamanjab and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. Continue via the little town of Outjo (Lunch stop for own account). Possibly meet up with fellow passengers joining the Etosha tour. From there, we continue to Etosha National Park. Arrive early afternoon and undertake your first game drive into the park. Overnight at Etosha Safari Camp. [DB]

DAY 5 WEDNESDAY ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Day excursion into the Park. Except for the rainy season, Etosha's animals are dependent on artificial waterholes and natural springs. Explore the various waterholes along this enormous saltpan, which is called the great white place of dry water in the local language. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for own account). Overnight at Etosha Safari Camp. [DB]

DAY 6 THURSDAY ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Encounter herds of wild life in the Park one more day. Of the 114 mammals species found in the park, several are rare and endangered; like the black rhino and black faced impala. Your guide will also introduce you to the complex subject of managing such an enormous reserve. Lunch stop at one of the rest camps (lunch for own account). Overnight at Kempinski Mokuti Lodge. [DB]

DAY 7 FRIDAY ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK – WINDHOEK
Depart the Lodge or camp and travel south towards Otjiwarongo. Opportunity to join the group en route to Victoria Falls. Continue towards Windhoek via Okahandja where we will visit a local handicraft market. Tour ends on arrival in Windhoek late afternoon. [B]
