The Kruger National Park is world-renowned for offering a wildlife experience that is second to none in Africa. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares which are divided into Southern and Northern Territories. All visitors can expect to see a wealth of game including Africa’s famous Big Five (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and the very illusive leopard); as well as  giraffe; zebra; antelope of every shape, size and description; cheetah and a host of smaller cats; hippo; bushpig and warthog; hyena and the endangered wild dog as well as hundreds of species of birds, amphibians and reptiles.
