Richard Jooste is doing something about the plight of our rhinos. He flew up to Kruger and donated equipment to the anti-poaching unit. Read about his story here. Any money we can put together for him to aid the anti-poaching unit would be amazing. Even if it’s R 100 per person it will make a difference! I am pledging. Will you pledge? Richard: “Hi everyone, I hope you’ve had a good Christmas and New Year. I’m heading up north to help out an anti-rhino-poaching team I’ve been involved with. The guys are from quite poor areas who are doing their best with very little equipment. I’ve put together some army and medical stuff for them and hope to put together a small Christmas hamper to say thank you for all their hard work and long hours in the bush away from their families. If anyone would like to help out in this regard feel free to make a pledge. If we manage to raise enough I’ll also look into getting them more tactical equipment like better radio’s or high powered observation equipment. If you’re shy about making a public pledge you can always contact me directly.”
